American Advanced English Program

The American Advanced English Program at The St. Nicholas School is designed to provide students with a solid academic foundation that harmoniously integrates the Vietnamese national curriculum and an enhanced English learning pathway.

Students develop their English proficiency according to international standards (ESL, CEFR outcomes), while building digital literacy and global citizenship through Microsoft certifications (IC3, MOS).
In addition, the program integrates STEM education aligned with the U.S. Common Core Standards, nurturing scientific thinking, creativity, and technological competence — essential skills for success in the global era.

Program Highlights

  • Vietnamese National Curriculum (MoET): Ensures standardized academic knowledge and eligibility for national university entrance examinations.
  • Intensive English Learning: 12 periods per week following CEFR standards, integrating ESL, Public Speaking, and Debate.
  • International Faculty: 40% of subjects are taught directly by native-speaking teachers.

With a diverse range of clubs from Languages and Performing Arts to STEM & Technology and Sports, students are encouraged to explore their passions, develop their skills, and nurture creativity. In addition, they have the opportunity to join international academic preparation programs (AP, WSC, ASMO, etc.) and experiential activities such as field trips, summer camps, and winter camps, contributing to a well-rounded learning journey rich in experience and personal growth.
