If you were impressed by the boy’s performance of “Golden Hour” at the recent Thanksgiving party at St. Nicholas, today you will be even more impressed by the remarkable achievements of Tran Ngo Minh Khang, a 6th-grade student at St. Nicholas School, on the intellectual arenas.
Minh Khang is one of the 40 candidates who achieved a gold medal out of a total of 195 medal winners nationwide at all levels in the Vanda International Science Competition 2023, securing the first position in the country rank and the ninth position in the global rank. In the HongKong International Computational Olympiad 2023, he confidently chose to take the Python programming language (for students from grade 8 to grade 12) and excellently achieved a gold medal in the National Round and a bronze medal in the International Round.
Furthermore, in the field of Astronomy and Science which requires vast knowledge to study the assembly of planets, satellites, comets, asteroids, and other objects revolving around the Sun, as well as the planets beyond the Solar System, Minh Khang has also excellently demonstrated his capability and knowledge, successfully achieving a silver medal in both the Copernicus International Science and Astronomy Olympiad 2023 and the national round of the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad 2023.️
