Kindergarteners celebrated Tet in “Tet Spirit Day activity”

The traditional Tet customs were reappeared by all kindergarten students and teachers of The St. Nicholas International School in “Tet Spirit Day” activity at the school campus on January 25, 2019.

Colourful class’s wall, lovely greeting cards and red envelopes created by skillful hands of kindergartens that made the school and classes become more lively and vibrant. On the school play ground, the students were so happy in traditional costumes and enjoyed the Tet Spirit Day with their parents and classmates. All our kindergarten students and teachers celebrated Tet in a joyful, exciting atmosphere through diverse activities: made Chung cake, made toy figurines, traditional games, cooking contest, and especially the Lion Dance that rocked our campus!

At the end of Tet Spirit Day, the students and parents who won the games and contests were received lovely gifts as prizes. Through this activity, the children not only have the pleasure to play, mobilize with joy and full of laughter but also contribute to training them to be more agile, strong, and skillful, thereby helping children Understand a part of the national cultural identity.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoang Lien – Kindergarten Principal of St. International School Nicholas said: “The Tet Spirit Day helps students understand and love Vietnamese traditions more, and also introduce these traditional Tet customs to our foreign students and parents. It is also an good opportunity to connect feelings and responsibilities between parents, students and schools ”.
