CLUBS
Drama Club
Club members will practice plays, and perform at the end of each semester. Students are expected not only to speak English only, but also to be able to speak expressive English in English classics in which they are acting. Thereby, the children will develop the ability to express and control emotions.
Yoga Club
The yoga club training sessions will alternate between restorative yoga (which involves slowing and opening the body with passive stretching) and Vinyasa yoga which includes more standing poses and changing positions more frequently. After each class, students will sit still for 10-15 minutes and meditate: this will calm their muscles and refresh their minds.
Arts & Crafts Club
The members will create their own versions of star lanterns, with beautiful papyrus with inner light or a string of lights. Children will work in groups to discuss and design lanterns according to the group’s ideas. After that, teachers and members will evaluate and select the most beautiful and meaningful products to display in front of the whole school.
STEM Club
With the combination of science, technology, engineering, and math, STEM Club will help students create real products and apply them to life.
After finishing each product, the members think together on how to present and introduce the product and answer questions of the listener. This will help increase the students’ ability to present, criticize and think scientifically.
Astronomy Club
Students will work in groups and each week there will be a group to present the previously prepared content. The practice of manufacturing and testing water missiles, telescopes; make a spaceship model. Interspersed are contests between groups.
Singing Club
The students will have vocal training and rehearsal of solo, duet, top or chorus repertoire to perform at school events.
Music Club
Music Club members will practice their musical instrument skills by forming a band.
The band’s goal is to be able to master a number of songs of different genres. This not only helps them improve their musical skills but also develops their ability to work as part of a band.
Presentation Club
By joining the club, students can improve their public speaking skills (the ability to present their ideas precisely, logically, clearly), confidence in communication, and critical thinking skills. Moreover, students are trained to select the information and respond to the information quickly.
