COMMUNITY SERVICES
ST. NICHOLAS ANGELS: IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE
With the aim of giving back to the community, this outreach program is called “St. Nicholas Angels” which is organized for students from elementary (grade 3 and above) to high school. Students will organize trips by themselves to visit places such as hospitals, shelters, and slum areas, to help the people in need.
The school’s major purpose in organizing volunteering activities is to develop a “giving back” culture among students. By joining these activities, they learn lessons of empathy – one of three core values that the school has been striving for. Another is the “sense of volunteerism”, where students are able to develop community involvement and foster common goods for a better society.
