On the morning of December 6, 2023, The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations had a working session with St. Nicholas School to discuss mutual external activities in the coming period.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Chairman of The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr. Pham Huu Hoa, Vice-Chairman of The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations. From St. Nicholas School, there was Mrs. Nguyen Thi Binh, Executive Chairwoman of St. Nicholas School; and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hiep, Vice-Principal of St. Nicholas School.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Binh introduced the school and proposed collaboration opportunities with The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh presented the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the union. He acknowledged that the proposals from the school were suitable, and both entities could coordinate to implement some people-to-people external activities in Da Nang City.
Mr. Pham Huu Hoa provided further information about the strengths of the union. He suggested that both parties designate a department head for direct communication and discussion on the coordination mechanism. He also requested the school to have a specific plan for personnel and infrastructure readiness for coordinated activities after the signing.
After the discussion, both sides agreed to jointly study, discuss, and sign a coordination agreement to organize people-to-people external activities in Da Nang City. These activities will be in line with the functions and tasks of each party, including organizing international conferences, congresses, seminars, cultural exchange programs, social and charitable activities, etc.
