Today, May 28, 2021 – St. Nicholas School (SNS) in Da Nang has officially become the 18th member of the EQuest Education Group and the first high school in Da Nang to join the Equest system.
According to the signed agreements, from May 2021 onwards, EQuest will invest in many aspects of SNS, especially the qualification system, academic programs, and training. The two parties will strategically advance SNS in a new direction that will cultivate a higher quality of education from its current foundation. The two sides also agreed that this new development will be based on respect and uphold SNS’s current educational philosophy of producing global citizens.
The St. Nicholas School in Da Nang is an international school that provides an accredited American curriculum for Vietnamese and international students from preschool to high school. SNS is working with Texas Tech University (“TTU”), the University of Missouri (“Mizzou”), and Florida Virtual School (“FLVS”) to bring the American curriculum to students in Vietnam. Upon completion, SNS students will receive the American High School Diploma, which is an international degree that is significantly beneficial for students to gain admission to Universities in the U.S.A and abroad.
EQuest currently has 18 members with a complete education ecosystem spread around the country, with 110,000 students in attendance each year from preschool to university, English training, and advanced educational technologies. All St. Nicholas students will benefit from EQuest’s Educational Ecosystem through its domestic and foreign cooperative relationships by ensuring that students will have the ability to study abroad with scholarships or study in international schools and international links in Vietnam.
One of the most significant advantages for St. Nicholas students is the ability to transfer to Broward College in Vietnam, which is a member of EQuest and a branch of Florida’s public university. Broward College has highly reputable professional programs in the Hospitality, Restaurant, and Healthcare industry, which perfectly suits the economic features of Da Nang city. Moreover, SNS students will receive a scholarship for 20% off their tuition when in attendance at Broward University in Vietnam for their first two years and then 30% – 100% scholarship when transferred to Broward University in the United States or in any other credential college in the U.S.A.
